The Enterprise plan

Enterprise is the one rifts.to plan you cannot buy from a page. Free and Pro have a price and a button; Enterprise has a conversation. That is why the Enterprise column on pricing reads "Email to inquire" where the other two show a number: what it costs depends on what the agreement ends up covering, and we don't know that until we've talked to you.

What an Enterprise agreement covers

• Everything in Pro, for everyone on the team rather than one person's account.
• Single sign-on through your organization's own identity provider.
• An uptime commitment, written into the agreement.
• A signed service agreement, so your security review and your invoicing process have something to work against.
• A named person to contact, instead of a shared support address.

Every line above is something an agreement covers, worked out in a conversation. None of it is a switch waiting in your account settings. Single sign-on in particular gets set up with you, against your identity provider, and is part of what we agree rather than something you turn on the day you sign up.

How to start

Two ways, and they arrive in the same place. Fill in the form on the Enterprise page, or write to enterprise@rifts.to yourself if you'd rather send it from your own mailbox.

What you send in the form is emailed to us, and that is the whole of what happens to it. It isn't stored in the product, and it doesn't create an account or put you on a mailing list. If you never hear back, send it again to the address above, because that mail is the only copy.

Almost nobody needs this

Running a poll costs nothing, and that isn't a trial: what is free covers where the line actually sits. If you run polls often and need to keep them afterwards, Pro is the plan for that, and it costs less per month than the time you'd spend negotiating anything.

Enterprise exists for one situation: an organization that can't pay for software without a procurement process behind it. If a card and an email address are all you need to get started, you're better off on Free or Pro, and you can move later without redoing any of it.
