Polling that fits into your existing slide deck
Professional speakers have a slide deck workflow they've refined over years. The last thing they need is a polling tool that requires a parallel app, a separate display setup, or an AV operator to manage the transition. rifts.to works with your existing deck: copy the QR code image into a slide, and you're done.
When you hit that slide, the poll is live. Audience members scan with their phones and start responding immediately. Results appear on the admin dashboard on your phone or laptop, so you can read them without switching windows in front of the audience.
Putting the results on the big screen
When a result is worth talking about, press Present on the dashboard. It fills the screen with one question at a time, in type big enough to read from the back row, and keeps updating as answers arrive. Most presentation clickers send Page Up and Page Down, so the remote you already use for slides steps through your questions too. The join QR code stays in a corner for anyone who walks in late.
Present is free. Pro adds Reveal, which lets you hide results with H and reveal each question's results when you're ready, so the first answers on screen don't sway the rest of the room. Pro also removes the small "Made with rifts.to" mark from the stage.
Makes audiences feel heard
A well-timed poll does more than collect data — it signals to the audience that their perspective matters. Speakers who use polling consistently report higher audience engagement and better post-talk ratings than those who present without it.
The questions don't have to be complex. A simple "which of these is your biggest challenge?" at the start of a talk lets you tailor your emphasis on the fly. A closing "what's the one thing you'll do differently?" turns passive attendance into active commitment.
